Professional Editioning Services
The Printroom offers professional editioning services for artists, designers, and makers looking to produce high quality prints of their work.
We work closely with each artist throughout the process, combining technical expertise with a collaborative approach. Our aim is to realise your vision while maintaining the highest standards of printmaking.
Whether you are producing a small edition or developing a larger body of work, the studio provides the knowledge, equipment, and support needed to bring your prints to life.
Editions are not simply reproductions of an original artwork. Each print is part of a carefully produced series, individually numbered and signed by the artist. Smaller editions often carry greater value due to their rarity.
Pricing varies depending on the artwork, materials, and processes involved. Please get in touch to discuss your project and receive a tailored quote.

Exposing Screens/ Renting Equipment
The Printroom offers artwork preparation for screen printing. If you have artwork ready to be exposed and want to print at home, we can prepare a screen for you.
You can supply your own screen, or hire one from us to take away. We also offer screen printing kits for those who need a complete setup.
Screen Exposure
A3 exposure, your own screen, £10
A2 exposure, your own screen, £20
Screen Hire
A3 screen with exposed artwork, £50 for 30 days, plus postage or collection from the studio
A2 screen with exposed artwork, £60 for 30 days, plus postage or collection from the studio
Screen Printing Kit Hire
Each kit includes one exposed screen, a squeegee, and a screen bed with clamps
Kit hire, £120 for 30 days, collection in person only

Designing Artwork
We offer digital design and preparation to make your artwork ready for the screen printing process. This includes colour separation, CMYK separation, and halftone creation for tonal shading.
If you have artwork you’d like to print but are unsure how to prepare it, we can help. We’ll work with your drawing, illustration, or design to ensure it is fully compatible with screen printing.

We offer one-to-one mentoring for higher education students, supporting you to refine and develop a strong, confident, creative portfolio.
We take the time to understand your academic and professional goals, helping you shape a body of work that reflects your ideas, strengths, and direction. Whether you are preparing for assessment, applications, or the next step in your career, we work with you to build a portfolio that sets you up for success.
Through focused guidance, feedback, and practical support, we help you edit, develop, and present your work with clarity and confidence.
£35 per hour
